About Dr. Fox

Dr. Albert Fox is a Facial Plastic Surgeon who is dual board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.

Albert Fox, MD, FACS was born in Queens, New York. He is a graduate of Yale University with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry. He attended the University of Connecticut School of Medicine where he developed an interest in surgery of the face, head and neck. Dr. Fox completed two years of General Surgery and completed his residency in the highly competitive specialty of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY.

Dr. Albert Fox underwent additional extensive training in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the aging face and neck through a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He trained with Dr. Keith LaFerriere, the past president of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and Dr. Gregory Renner at the University of Missouri. His interests in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery include facelifts, rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, endoscopic brow lift and reconstruction of skin cancer defects.

 

Bristol County Medical Society named Dr. Albert Fox the 2010 Clinician of the Year for his commitment to excellence in patient care and Humanitarian Efforts.

Dr. Albert Fox provides lectures and instruction to other plastic surgeons nationally and internationally. At the 2010 American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) annual meeting, Dr. Fox presented his experiences with Sculptra and facial fillers for the treatment of aging changes of the face. He has also provided surgical instruction and lectures to plastic surgeons in China and Vietnam. Dr. Fox presented his research in facial reconstruction at the Craniomaxillofacial Surgery Advanced Symposium, and has published scientific and clinical papers in the Archives of Facial Plastic Surgery and other peer-reviewed journals.

In addition to his pursuit of surgical excellence, Dr. Albert Fox also enjoys the outdoors, especially hiking, kayaking and tennis.
